KELSEN Building Group was established in 2024 with a singular mission: to deliver a refined and seamless building experience. Our founder, Eric, brings nearly 30 years of specialized expertise in Aspen's luxury residential sector, where he has mastered the art of integrating world-class architecture with high-performance construction. By maintaining a veteran team of on-site superintendents and project managers, we ensure every project is staffed with the experience necessary to navigate the complexities of mountain building. Our long-standing partnerships with the valley’s premier vendors and trades guarantee that your project receives the highest standard of craftsmanship and meticulous oversight at every stage.

Professional Background:
Eric earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 1993, then moved to Denver, CO, where he gained valuable field experience as a carpenter and residential framer. He later worked as an assistant project manager for a residential developer in Parker, CO until 1997. Following a tour of Europe in the summer of 1997, Eric moved to the Roaring Fork Valley and spent 12 years working with two award-winning architecture firms, refining his design skills, and his eye for detail. Although he enjoyed collaborating on, and developing design concepts, his passion for construction management led him to transition to residential construction in 2008.

Outside of work:

Away from work, Eric loves hiking, skiing and traveling with his family. You might also, on occasion, find him biking, golfing, or playing ice hockey.
